Today, Waco ISD hosted its 2nd Annual Partnership Recognition Breakfast welcoming Adopt-a-School Partners from across the district.

This was a special time to thank, honor and recognize the incredible work that our partners put in to our schools each and every day.

AASThrough these partnerships, volunteers put in countless hours of hard work and are dedicated to not only helping to improve the outcomes of our children in Waco ISD, but to supporting our wonderful faculty and staff as well.

The Adopt-a-School Program has been around for 31 years and counting, forming over 150 partnerships, not to mention the many relationships within the community, from businesses such as banks, restaurants and retail stores, to churches, sororities and many other organizations.

With that said, it was definitely a tough competition to narrow it down to just 13 award winners, for they are all very deserving.  The honorees were just several of the amazing groups that work with the Waco ISD Adopt-a-School Program.

We look forward to working with our community and all partners to help improve the outcomes of our students and thank you for making a difference in the lives of our children here at Waco ISD.  Congratulations to EVERYONE on a very successful year of outstanding partnerships!
