Who doesn't want the SurPrize Patrol to knock on their class door? 

"Last year $100,000 in creative classroom grants were funded by the Waco ISD Education Foundation SurPrize Patrol.  The grants committee is pumped and ready for a repeat," according to Amber George, Waco ISD Education Foundation Coordinator.  

The group expects to award another $100,000 in grants for classroom projects ($7,500 max); creativity is a priority. Grants should focus on Early Childhood Development, Enhanced Programming for Advanced Students, Extended Education for Staff, and Emphasis on Student Performance.  


Innovative Educator Grants Deadline:

January 7, 2014 by 9:00 a.m.  


Purpose:

The Foundation’s funding priorities were selected to enableinnovative educators to create educational projects in the following focusareas: early childhood development, enhanced programming for advanced students, extended education for teachers, and emphasis on student performance.
