Waco ISD Education Foundation Grants

Grant recipients are chosen through a competitive selection process that is open to all Waco ISD faculty.  The Waco ISD Education Foundation seeks to provide funding for Waco ISD teachers and schools by awarding grants in three focus areas.

1 Early childhood education
Research demonstrates that the age of zero through the 3rd grade is crucial in the development of the human brain.
 
2  Enhanced programming for advanced students
Funding for "at-risk" programs is relatively easy to obtain for students, but it is the belief of the Waco ISD Education Foundation that advanced students are just as important and often overlooked.

3 Extended education for staff
The Foundation is formed on the belief that the most important factor in early learning is the teacher.  Therefore, grant money is awarded to help improve the quality of teaching.

Grants up to $7,500 will be awarded each spring.
